The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure has recently completed a review of taxi fares across the Northern Territory. Tariff s 1 and 2 will increase by 2.2%, in line with the current Australian Consumer Price Index (CPI) and will provide stability to members of the taxi industry and balance affordability for
the travelling public. The increase will come into effect from Monday 31 March 2025.
