On Sunday 8 th of December 2024 the Triathlon South Shipwrights Arms Hotel Triathlon will be held in the Seven Mile Beach area.
The event will commence at 10.00am and conclude by 12.00pm (midday).
In accordance with Section 56A of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999, the temporary closing of the following streets has been authorised by Tasmania Police to facilitate these events:
Surf Road will be closed at Grueber Avenue from 7.30am – 12.00pm (midday).
Partial road closure and speed reduction of Pittwater Road (prior to Five Mile Beach
intersection to Surf Road) from 9.30am – 12.00pm whilst the cycle event is on route.
Vehicular and pedestrian traffic wanting to travel on or across the event route will be affected.
Residents will be permitted access to their properties when safe to do so.
Traffic Controllers will be in attendance to manage traffic and will stop or direct traffic away from the event route.
