WITNESS NEEDED…… We are seeking information from anyone who witnessed a motor vehicle accident that occurred at 11.15am on 17 August 2024 at the Beenleigh on Ramp entrance of the M1 Motorway heading North.
The accident occurred when a copper brown 2016 Toyota Landcruiser GXL wagon bearing Queensland registration ‘EJN-10’ (‘the Landcruiser’) entered the right lane of the Beenleigh On Ramp to merge onto the M1 Motorway heading North, when an unknown and unidentified vehicle (‘the unidentified vehicle’) driving erratically in the same direction, has collided at speed into the rear left side of Landcruiser causing it to lose control, hit the concrete barrier on the left and flip into its roof. The unidentified vehicle continued driving onto the M1 Motorway heading North and did not stop.
The accident involved only the two vehicles as noted above. It is believed that the unidentified vehicle might have been a small to medium vehicle. Possibly a hatchback such as a Hyundai I30 or Hyundai Accent and possibly beige in colour.
