ARMY AVIATION PROGRAM OF WORKS (TOWNSVILLE)

CPB Contractors Pty Ltd is the Managing Contractor for the Army Aviation Program of Works (AAPoW) project for the Department of Defence. The project involves construction of new facilities and upgrades to existing infrastructure to:

• Support the introduction of 29 Apache helicopters at RAAF Base Townsville.
• Support the relocation of the 1st Aviation Regiment from Darwin.
• Provide new facilities at the Townsville Field Training Area (TFTA) in Hervey Range to support training activities.

The project is reaching completion of the design phase, with construction activities commencing in Early 2025 and finishing in Mid-2028.

Tendering has commenced with some trade packages however the following further tenders for Priority and Early Works are expected to be called. The Balance of the Works will be tendered in Mid-2025.

All suitably qualified subcontractors are invited to register for one or more of the above tender packages by emailing AAPoW@cpbcon.com.au. Tenderers will then be directed to register on the tender platform and complete a confidentiality agreement.

Please note registration on the tender platform must be complete by no later than 3 calendar days prior to the above tender call dates.
