EOI-MSC2024-01 – Waste Services Delivery
Mareeba Shire Council invites expressions of interest from local, national and international respondents for the provision of Waste Services Delivery.

Council is currently responsible for services including, but not limited to the following:
1. Landfill expansion and operation
2. Transfer station services
3. Commodity and resource management (green waste, scrap steel, resources)
4. Transfer station logistics
5. Kerbside collection.
Council is looking at how it can deliver these services more efficiently and in an integrated manner. Council is also seeking to assess the value proposition for re-commencing landfill operations at the Mareeba Landfill, which is a strategic asset for the region that could be developed to deliver improved resource recovery and waste disposal security.
The tender process to select the preferred respondent consists of three (3) stages:
1. Expression of Interest (EOI)
2. Early Tenderer Involvement (ETI) workshops with short-listed respondents from the EOI stage
3. Invitation to Tender with short-listed respondents from the EOI/ETI stage
EOI submissions must be lodged as detailed in the documentation by 28 November 2024 at 11:00am. By submitting a response, respondents agree to the conditions detailed in the EOI.
