In accordance with Section 46 of the Local Government Act 2019, MacDonnell Regional Council is seeking to appoint an eligible applicant enrolled within the Ljirapinta Ward to fill a casual vacancy.
Applicants are invited to submit a written statement or a video explaining why they wish to become a Councillor and what contributions they can make to the Council.
Closing Date: Applications must be submitted by [insert closing date - 28 days from the date of advertisement].
All submitted statements or videos will be presented to the Council at the October Council meeting for consideration. The successful applicant will be appointed to fill the position until the next general election.
